as i grew up on a lake in austria, nature and water have always been a very important part in my life. first sailing and mountaineering where the sports i spent most of my time with until i discovered diving in 1993.

it was after my first diving holidays in dahab/egypt that i fell in love with all the different marine life and underwater organisms. taking pictures of them became a hobby quite quickly. today i love to show other people the under water world, the way i see it.

today i am running diving centers in egypt and try to be in water with my camera equipment as much as possible.
